With a little shopping online you will be able to easily find this product for around US$175-$200 in your area. For what this player offers, I wouldn't deem that an unfair price at all. This product is much more than your average "turn it on and listen to music" MP3 player. In addition, for the same money you get an easy to use portable hard drive, voice recorder, MP3 encoder and a color photo viewer in one neat and tidy package...

The Samsung WriteMaster SE-W164 is a USB 2.0 only device and sports a rather impressive maximum writing speed of 16x for single layer DVD media, 8x DVD+R DL burning, and 4x for DVD-R DL burning. That is smoking fast even when compared to today's internal DVD burners...

The Samsung SyncMaster 930MP is the latest hybrid LCD/TV display from the company, and the focus of this review. This Syncmaster 930MP features a 0.294mm dot pitch, 19" screen, 1000:1 contrast ratio, luminance of 250cd/m2 and a native resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. More to the point, the 930MP integrates a TV and FM tuner into its chassis, allowing it to function as a standalone television set and FM radio (AM is not supported) as well as a DVI/analog compatible computer monitor...

In such a small package, Samsung manages to cram 1GB storage, 1.8" LCD screen, wide range of audio support, MPEG-4 video player, FM radio/recorder, voice recorder, photo viewer, motion sensor (for games), and last but not least, USB host inside the vertically oriented player...

The Samsung SpinPoint M40 series is a family of 2.5" hard drives that boast 8 MB cache and 5400 RPM speeds! If your laptop is in need of some speed upgrades, or if you just need massive amounts of storage on the go, keep reading to see how well this drive performs in a 2.5" USB 2.0 external case and as the primary drive in a laptop!

The Samsung SyncMaster 730BF was a great little monitor with a no nonsense feel. Created for the speed deprived, its 4ms GTG timing certainly was no pushover and Samsung has proven that their RTA overdrive panel technology works just as well if not better than the competition. The SyncMaster 730BF should already be available at local retailers, so drop by and have a look for yourself. With a 19-inch model (930BF) coming along the way as well, Samsung has worthy contenders in the 4ms race...

Inside the X50 is a 2GHz Pentium M, which is only one step down from the top of the range Pentium M. The CPU is backed up by 512MB of PC3200 DDRII memory, while the 80GB hard disk should provide enough storage for even the most space hungry user. Grpahics come courtesy of ATI in the shape of a Mobility Radeon X600 chipset. This isn't the fastest mobile graphics chipset by any stretch of the imagination, but you can probably get away with playing the odd game if you drop the resolution down and don't turn any image quality features on...

Overall, it looks like Samsung has made a very competitive multi-function printer. This printer is beefy enough to handle most any office environment's print needs, as well as provide all the other support offices need such as copying and faxing. An added bonus beyond normal usage to this printer would be scanning. For about $500 you can have your entire office's needs take care of...

I'm wondering what future steps Samsung will be taking to improve themselves in the market. While they are the king of LCD products, they still have a few things to work on for the portable audio devices. The whole 5GB storage option is great and pairing it with a color LCD display for pictures is a very nice touch...

Print quality is very good with natural and accurate colours printed without dots. The dye sublimation technique means ink is transferred as a vapour from the backing film to the paper, so you get 'continuous tone' print, very similar to a classic, silver halide photograph. The printer lays three different colours onto the paper: yellow, magenta and cyan in that order, and then it lays a clear transparent layer over the top to protect the printer from light and ozone attack. The cover layer also gives the print an attractive, glossy coating. Even with only three-colour prints, black is well reproduced...

The YP-T7Z has certainly been a convenient MP3 player. The compact size is a definite plus for those who already carry a number of things in their pockets. The backlit color LCD makes it very easy to read at any time of the day. The ability to do a number of things with one device is certainly better than having one device for each product.

After a good bout with the Q30, it became clear why Samsung chose the ultra lightweight and portable Q30 as the notebook to mark their entry into Singapore and countries in the region. Not only was the notebook a crowd pleaser in form factor and design, the build quality was topnotch as well. There aren't a lot of slim, 1kg notebooks lying around as it is and certainly not many can look the part and still stand up to the elements of daily use with minimal care to its glossy exterior.

Overall, my experience with this product has been excellent. This aesthetically pleasing product was problem free, easy to install using a standard video connection and is packed full of features that will have your DVD player future-proofed if you decide to upgrade your TV to a high definition display sometime in the upcoming years. But with the advantages of this product, there are some hang ups...
