About two years ago I looked at the 30in Apple Cinema Display and was amazed at how useful a 2,560 x 1,600 desktop display could be. At the time there wasn't a competing product available, and the price of the panel was over £2,000. Since then, other manufacturers have got in on the 30in display act, with Dell making the biggest splash and also helping bring the price down. Now Samsung has entered the market with the SyncMaster 305T and as is usually the case with Samsung these days, it has got pretty much everything right.

If you ask the average person on the street who they think makes the most desirable gaming computers on the planet, they'll probably mention names like Voodoo PC and Alienware but that's where they'd be oh-so wrong. That crown is firmly held by the little known system builder from Harrow, Vadim Computers.

Well, I really don't know where to start, I can't really find anything serious to complain about. The kit is one of the most complete kits I've installed to date, I didn't have to run around and search for anything, it was all there (except for the distilled water). Everything fit like the instructions said and the performance was outstanding, even coming extremely close to systems at twice the price.

How many times have you found yourself in a situation that you wish you had access to your files on your computer, while not at your computer? Thumb drives, CD's, and DVD's only hold so much data and can leave you sitting there wanting more. The most common solution to this problem is using an external hard drive enclosure.

The TeleNav Bluetooth GPS Navigator is a small device that you can put pretty much anywhere in your car. It receives GPS data from the 29 current satellites in the Global Positioning System and sends the signal to your smartphone using Bluetooth wireless technology. Thus, with the TeleNav GPS Navigator accessory, your smartphone becomes a GPS device.

Titan Amanda is a new cooler based on a little TEC (40W). At the beginning we felt something strange hearing that this cpu cooler used an air-cooled peltier cell to improve its performances. This time Titan understood the limit of this tecnology: a little TEC isn't able to cool our processor if left alone in this heavy task! This the reason why Amanda joins two traditional technologies, TEC and Air Cooling, by the use of four heatpipes: a pair of them cools the cpu, the other pair cools the TEC chip which improves heat transfer from the cpu to the fins. Of course there are some compromises: Amanda weight over one kilo and it introduces addictional power consumption, around 60-70Watts under full stress. However, performances are similar to watercooling kits and much more better than 'industrial' watercooling kit, while noise level and price (around $100) are lower: this hybrid solution brought from Titan to us could be a good choice if we're looking for performances.

OCZ's debut into the world of video cards makes a splash with the GeForce 8800 GTX. Though it performs great at stock speed the focus on overclocking pays off and the OCZ card lives up to its name, offering the best bang for the buck GeForce 8800 GTX we have had in our test bench yet...

Ultimately then the case is like a first house or a dilapidated shed; it may not look like much, but everything you really need is there to start with so that what it's lacking in appearance can be fixed. The new motto for the case should be; "Enermax Pandora - a brilliant fixer-upper" because, while those just buying the case for what it is can get decent performance out of it, the real appeal will be for those just starting out on a new modding project. If you can afford to invest a little time into the Pandora to improve its appearance closer to your personal tastes, then you'll soon find that this is a chassis that can pay you back in spades.

Well, I was really hoping for much better cooling than I got from the Volcano. The performance isn't bad by any means, but given its massive size and $50 US price tag I would have liked to see improvement over the stock Thermaltake waterblock I was using previously. On the upside, installation was easy and three different sizes of hose connectors are included to integrate it with just about any watercooling setup.

As you can see from the quote ZEROtherm are not exactly new to the cooling market as their parent company have been around since 1999, so really the new boys on the block should know how to produce a decent heatpipe cooler. Is this the case with the GX810, let us get on with the review and find out.

Digital picture frames are relatively new gadgets. I suppose that they've been around for a couple of years, but ones as large as 7" are still at or over 100 bucks. I don't work in an office anymore, but I suppose that having one on your desk at work is about the coolest use for one, along with giving one full of family pictures to parents or grandparents.

The Hitachi DeskStar 7K1000 1TB HDD uses the familiar 3.5" form factor and spins at 7,200 rpm. The drive uses the SATA 3.0 GB/s interface, though if your mainboard doesn't support that speed you can configure the drive to run at the older, slower SATA speed. Hitachi claims seek times of 8.5ms read and 9.2ms write and the drive uses perpendicular recording technology.
