This time, we get three new models: the Light Base 500 (no ARGB), the Light Base 500LX Black, and the Light Base 500 LX White. All three variations have a similar design and have the same dimensions. We tested the Light Base 500 LX Black model, which includes four (4) ARGB 120mm fans and can support up to 360mm AIO coolers. In addition, the side panel fan design includes an angle to better cool those big GPUs. All three models have side and front glass windows, for that WOW effect, so we feel that the ARGB models (black/white) are preferred.

Working with the be quiet! Light Base 500 LX series is a real joy, all panels can be removed easily, and the printed manual includes all the needed information, even for amateur users. The new Light Base 500 series also includes a newly designed backside connector design (Asus BTF (Back to Future), MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth) that some users may find useful, and hopefully will get adopted even from other vendors as well.
