"Logitech have been around for a long time now and produce some of the most well made gadgets and speaker systems for your PC. They have also been busy producing some fantastic mouse and keyboard solutions, too. You might call Logitech the ?all-rounder? of all things multimedia. Today i have one of their newer products, the small and lightweight S125i speaker dock for use with Apple?s ever growing range of portables and smart phones."

?3M?s MPro15 is a cool piece of gadgetry which any tech-savvy business professional will love. It?s no bargain, but it is an easy way to manage your common business files. And because it?s cordless, there?s no need to pack a separate laptop or projector so you can travel a lot lighter. The downside is that its display size is limited to 50-inches, it?s not very bright, and its built-in speakers aren?t loud enough to wake those nodding off at the back of the room. Nevertheless, it probably is good enough to let you leave your laptop at home.?

?The Samsung N210 is very similar to the majority of the current netbooks on the market, based on the Intel Atom N450 processor and offering limited upgrades. While there isn?t much in terms of computing power increase on the CPU, the advantage here is that lower power consumption is offered, which results in a longer battery life.?

SuperSpeed USB (otherwise known as USB 3.0) is a new standard for PC peripheral connectivity. Although Intel has been hesitant to make this interface truly standard, more and more vendors are including the technology on their motherboards , and you can even purchase add-on cards to upgrade your current system. The increase in data transfer naturally lends itself to increased hard drive performance, and PC equipment manufacturers are now revealing hard drive enclosures featuring USB 3.0. Rosewill has been making good PC peripherals for several years, including external hard drive enclosures. They have recently introduced their RX358 USB 3.0 hard drive enclosure, which promises the ease of USB with the data capabilities of SATA.

The Thermaltake Wings RS301 case is not for the enthusiast wanting to have the latest and greatest case with all of the bells and whistles. But for $49.99 from Newegg this case fits solidly within the value segment of the case market. The handle is a welcome addition as it makes the case easy to transport. The case has some quality features including the ability to do tool-less installation and two 120mm fans with the optional front 120mm fan mount. Thermaltake has done a solid job with this value-conscious case in most respects.

The Vantec SuperSpeed USB 3.0 card is definitely fast. It can supply enough bandwidth for SATA hard drives to work at their full potential, and works much better than the chipsets on many motherboards. While testing USB flash sticks in our test labs, we have discovered that the quality of the chipset on the motherboard greatly affects the USB throughput. Even if you don't need the extra bandwidth right now, the NEC D720200F1 chip on the SuperSpeed card provided the best performance we have seen on all of our existing USB 2.0 devices. So if you think you're not getting the most out of your USB devices, then it's probably your motherboard's USB chipset and you may want to upgrade to the new technology.

"ViewSonic is a company you would likely associate with monitors, but the Taiwanese company has had its nose in new various different businesses for a little while now and one of those is computers. ViewSonic produce a range of regular laptops, but also got in on the netbook thing when Intel released its first Atom processor. Now that Intel?s new Pinetrail netbook platform is out on the market, the one with the Atom N450 processor with built-in graphics and memory controller for better battery life, ViewSonic is also out with a new netbook built on the same platform. Today we get a close-up look at the ViewSonic VNB108. It may only be on sale in Asian markets, but it promises some lovely worded features such as 802.11n wireless networking, an advanced anti-glare LED screen and Windows 7 support. But how does it really perform?"

"The latest revision of USB 3.0 is undeniably a great leap forward, but economic conditions have slowed the mass adaption of the technology. Intel has a bit of a roll as well, choosing to stick to their tick tock launch schedule that has their major debut of USB 3.0 hardware scheduled for sometime in the middle of next year. After NEC announced massive shipments and most likely will bring in huge profits, Intel announced that they will introduce an add-on chip by the end of 2010, but true Southbridge USB 3.0 for big blue is still a long ways off. In the meantime we have NEC and their partners who are making add-in boards that will allow the integration of USB 3.0 into your existing motherboards by way of PCI Express. Many computers used today have an abundance of open PCIe slots making for a very high compatibility rate."
