Either way you can't really argue with the price as the case is both sturdy and a decent performer in our testing regime. The build quality is adequate and the design is both stylish and sleek and every enthusiast knows that a decent case pays for itself in spades, which is just what the Poseidon does. Of course, there are other cases which are even better than this one which only cost a little more, but if your budget is strictly set in stone and you can't afford another £20, then the Poseidon is an excellent choice, though there's always going to be one which is slightly better.

Gigabyte, like others, released a slew of motherboards utilizing Intel's P35 chipset when it was first announced. The P35C-DS3R is unique to their line-up though, since it will accept both DDR2 and DDR3 memory. We pit the boards performance using both types of memory against our recently reviewed ASUS P5K and P5K3.

When you hear the name Gigabyte you think motherboards, or at least I do. Actually Gigabyte makes a lot of different products ranging from video cards to laptops. Today we will be looking at one of their CPU cooling offerings, the 3D Rocket II. The 3D Rocket II features a dual fan duct design, 4 heatpipes, and a fan control unit. It can tackle both sides of the field being able to support both Intel and AMD platforms. Let's take a look...

Compared to that of the GeForce 6150 chipset, AMD has really got a winner - its ability to run HDMI as well as superior graphics core makes it a more ideal chipset for the K8, giving you a full AMD system with AMD CPU and AMD chipset. Today we are looking at the GIGABYTE GA-MA69GM motherboard designed with the AMD 690G chipset. So let us see how well it compares to the MSI based motherboard which we recently tested in our labs.

While most of us wait.....and wait.....and continue to wait for DirectX 10 games to arrive, NVIDIA continues to saturate the market with videocards covering every price range supporting the highly anticipated graphics platform. As AMD/ATI struggle to find their way with their much hyped R600 arriving to little fanfare, NVIDIA has released their mainstream and budget graphics solutions in the form of the 8500GT, 8600GT, and 8600GTS.

It's inexpensive, as fast as other P35 boards and overclocks like a beast. You could certainly do better on the included feature and accessories front, but that's not like it doesn't give you plenty of expandability on-board. If I was looking for an inexpensive, solid performing, future proof backbone to a new system; the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R would certainly be high on my list.

With the introduction of the 3D Galaxy II liquid cooling system, Gigabyte has given novice watercooling enthusiasts another option when deciding to "take the plunge." This system is feature rich, expandable and great looking. It has good cooling performance as well, and addresses the motherboard cooling issues commonly overlooked by the inexperienced waterhead.

The Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 motherboard was a pleasure to work with and if you're an enthusiast you'll love how Gigabyte places mostly everything in easy to reach locations. The large SilentPipe heatsink works very well and keeps the Intel P35 Express Northbridge, ICH9R Southbridge and MOSFETs nice and cool.

Gigabyte created an interesting 8600GTS, the GV-NX86S256H, with the use of Silent-Pipe3 fan-less heatink. To the best of my knowledge, it is the world's first silent 8600GTS, offering plenty of performance for those with 20" or smaller LCDs while doing so silently.
