Blogger Banned From CES Over Prank
The Consumer Electronic Association banned a blogger from CES for life, after a blogger interfered with screen displays at last weeks's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
A Gizmodo staffer has been accused to interfere with booth operators and disable flat-panel TVs, using a pocket device that disables displays with a click of a button. The infared device is also responsible for the disruption of a press event at CES, according to a statement issued by the Consumer Electronics Assiciation.
The CEA decided to bar the blogger from attending any future CES events, while further sanctions against Gizmondo are been discussed, according to CEA.
Gizmodo's response is available at their web site.
