Doom 3 review - page 7

Graphics - Sound:

Impressive!John Carmack John Carmack and his crew at id have produced something exceptional in the field of graphics. The realism and the amazing effects will astonish just about anyone.

All these of course also have their price, because in order to enjoy the game to its limits, you are obliged to spend a lot of money on hardware.

Similarly, the sound is also great. It supports 5.1 channels where not only do you hear and understand everything, crystal clear, but you can also judge the distance of the source of the sound. The only music during the game is present when navigating the menus and is "pleasant", but the sound effects throughout the game are very realistic and help create the atmosphere.
