The EPOMAKER RT100 is the first product of the RT series that includes an LCD screen to display interesting information, like CPU usage, CPU temp, weather information, and your own GIF, artwork, which gives the keyboard an interesting design. EPOMAKER has armed this keyboard with a lot of features and many different colors to choose from (4) and up to three different switches that should cover most of your needs. This is a full-size keyboard, even somewhat smaller than another full-size keyboard since the PageUp/Down/Home/End/etc have moved place, which needs some time to get used to. There are also four arrow keys and of course, a full-size numpad to speed up those nasty calculator actions.

The used keycaps are made out of PBT, so the surface should be somewhat more resistant to turning shiny from skin oils, compared to ABS, and are also very good of course all buttons are swapable, either to change the default switches and keycaps. The build material is from plastic around the keyboard and the tested color looks very good to the eye. The gasket-mounted design with five layers of foam lessens the sound of keyboard typing noise. All three connection modes are very good, either cable/2.4GHz or BT, we didn't notice high lag so gaming would be great with this baby. The product comes also with a 5000mAh rechargeable battery that promises many hours of working before re-charging it. The keyboard also offers NKRO (N-key rollover) so you will get accurate registration of key presses. All keys have RGB LEDs with 16 default lighting patterns and can be customized with the EPOMAKER driver software. The included USB cable feels very high quality with a blue LED light that gives that extra touch. As with the RT80, this product also has a small LCD touch screen that can present time, battery, and connection and also can include .gif art and animations. Of course, a rotating, backlight knob, is present to control sound levels and music play/pause action. The typing experience is top-notch, we liked the used switches, which give that tactile feedback and have a characteristic sound to it. The weight is OK and the included 5000mAh battery should last long.

We did notice that the product needs its cable to work the best, even the product should have some kind of cable routing. The 2.4GHz module is onboard, even to use the LCD screen you have to remove it, and there isn't any place to secure it a the keyboard so...take care. The LCD screen while welcomed doesn't add much to the overall creativity, the reading angle should have been lower, since now stands at 90 degrees vs the typing position. The EPOMAKER driver software keeps improving and you can control the software and create your own GIFS/artwork and share it with the whole world (an online account is needed).

Overall we find the EPOMAKER RT100 to be a very good product if you are looking for a full-size keyboard, with special colors/design and an LCD screen. We assume that EPOMAKER will keep improving it with a second revision that should fix some design choices, but we can suggest this keyboard for all users.
