Writing Quality Tests - 3T Jitter Tests
Aopen 8x8 supports 32x maximum writing speed for CD-R media. To test the writing quality of the Aopen, we used media from different manufacturers and burned them at the maximum allowed speed. The Pit and Land Jitter of all written media are illustrated in the graphs below.
- 3T Pit results
The jitter levels are low for all media except the AM brand, which means good writing quality.
The above graph shows that the average Pit values of all written media, except AM, is below the 35ns Red Book limit. All discs were written at 32x under P-CAV and the values are very good.
- 3T Land results
As with the Pit jitter level, so too with Land jitter, the writng quality is again good for all tetsted discs, except the AM. The graph below confirms this.
