Chinese Maker Unveils The World's Thinnest Smartphone
The Elife S5.5 is a 5.5mm thick smartphone made by Chinese company Gionee, and is the world's thinnest handset.
The phone features a 5-inch full HD display, an octa-core 1.7GHz processor and 2GB of RAM. It also runs Android version 4.2 and is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera.
The handset will be launched in China and will cost no more than $370.
Previously, the 5.75mm Vivo X3 was considered to be the world's thinest phone.
