DaTARIUS Hosts the DVD Forum VPC Verification Seminar
DaTARIUS will be playing host, at its Austrian headquarters, to the DVD Forum's Verification Seminar. The Forum?s VPC Committee will have its European meeting on the 14th of September.
The major themes of the Seminar are Format Verification for DVD/HD DVD test specifications and HD DVD Format/Logo Licence.
In conjunction with the VPC meeting, the DaTARIUS Group will be inviting top companies (DCA, Oerlikon, Singulus, Singulus Mastering, Technotrans, and other) from within the optical media manufacturing industry to the Blue Days (September 12-13) at the company's headquarters in Reutte, Austria.
"This seminar will provide comprehensive information for anyone involved in the manufacture of HD DVD and BD," says DaTARIUS CCO Thomas Hackl. "In addition to a special keynote session, experts from throughout the industry will be offering technical insights along with market information and projections."
Sessions will cover every stage of optical manufacture and fulfilment: mastering, electroforming, replication, quality control, packaging and printing. DaTARIUS will explain in detail the measurements required for blue format spec conform discs and guide attendees through the quality control process: how it relates to the manufacturing flow, and how replicators can get perfect product to their customers.
DaTARIUS will also present and demonstrate its CoverTest Technology enabling Stamper Testing for all type of Stamper, (DVD, HD DVD and BD). The CoverTest foil enables stamper testing on driveCubes and reaches the closest correlation between stamper and disc. It also protects the stampers during handling.
In addition, there will be a detailed presentation of the DaTARIUS Blue format products and a showcase of its DaTABANK with driveCubes for BD, HD DVD and DVD. Attendees at the Blue Days seminars will be given 'live demonstrations of Blue laser technology and testing solutions.
