Intel To Release Chromecast-like Thumb-sized PCs
Intel has disclosed plans to release thumb-sized "compute sticks" next year, which will plug into smart TVs or monitors and promise to bring more than typical content streaming capabilities.
Druring the Intel investor conference in Santa Clara, California, Kirk Skaugen, senior vice president and general manager of the PC Client Group appeared holding the small device in his hands saying that it would "bring intelligence, TVs and monitors, without however showing it working in action. Skaugen said the devices will be an extension to laptops and mini-desktops. It will bring x86 computing to fanless designs, he said. We could safely assume that the device will be powered by
