InterVideo Showcases MPEG-4 Codec
InterVideo announced on Tuesday that it will showcase the next-generation 8-megapixel camera phone from Xcute Mobile during the 3GSM World Congress Show.
InterVideo has integrated its MPEG-4 codecs with Texas Instruments' DM270 platform in the Xcute 8-megapixel GSM phone.
The phone features InterVideo's audio codec to playback MP3 and WMA files. The Xcute cell phone also includes InterVideo's MPEG-4 and DivX video codec which allows consumers to record real time video clips at several resolutions up to VGA (640x480) at 30 fps (frames-per-second).
InterVideo also provides individual video and audio codecs and multimedia editing applications on all smartphone operating systems such as Linux, Windows Mobile and Symbian.
