Trust Introduces Three New HiRes Webcams

Trust Introduces Three New HiRes Webcams

PC components Nov 24,2006 0

In an era where Internet communication is playing an increasing larger role, there is a growing need for webcams with a high-quality image. Trust meets this demand with the introduction of three new, high resolution webcams for both desktop computers and notebooks. These webcams allow you to make optimal use of applications such as Live Messenger, Skype and other messenger services. Thanks to the high resolution, images are very sharp so that no detail is missed. All three models have a snapshot button so that photographs can be taken quickly.

The Trust HiRes Webcam Live WB-3250p is a compact USB webcam with a high snapshot resolution of 1.3 megapixels (1280 x 960). Thanks to the strong clamp, the webcam can be easily attached to the screen of a notebook, a flat panel monitor or another flat surface.

The compact Trust HiRes USB2 Webcam Live WB-3450p has been specially designed for demanding users. The exceptionally fast USB 2.0 connection ensures smooth video images. This model also has a snapshot resolution of 1.3 megapixels and a digital zoom so that objects can be brought three times as close without a loss of image quality. The webcam uses face tracking technology, where the camera automatically follows the movements of the face, which means that it is no longer necessary to remain sitting still. This model also has a clamp so that it can be easily attached to the screen of a notebook, a flat panel monitor or another flat surface. As an extra, software is included that can be used to create many kinds of real time video effects. For example, special effects, such as a magic mirror or security monitor, can be added to the image whilst chatting.

The Trust HiRes Notebook Webcam WB-3350p for notebook users: a compact USB webcam with an integrated microphone, 640 x 480 (300k) resolution and a digital zoom function, so that objects can be brought twice as close. The stand can be used as a clamp to attach the webcam to a notebook monitor and the retractable 70 cm long USB cable makes the device easy to carry in a notebook bag.
