Pantech's "VEGA No6 Full HD" is the first LTE smartpone with a large 5.9-inch full-HD screen to launch in South Korea. The smartphone (model: IM-A860S/K/L) was announced by the company today in South Korea and will retail in the country for 849,000 won ($780).

Besides its 5.9-inch full-HD touchscreen display (IPS Pro), the device packs a 13-inch camera capable of shooting video at 30 FPS, a 2M front-facing camera and a 3,140 mAh battery. It's powered by a Snapdragon S4 Processor and runs Google's Android 4.1 OS (Jelly Bean) and will be available in black and white versions.



Pantech did not say whether the new device will be released outside S. Korea.
