Air pollution is something most of us live with every day. In high-pollution areas, opening windows during the day isn’t always a smart way to refresh indoor air. In many homes and apartments—especially well-sealed ones—air can also become stagnant and benefit from stronger circulation. Add allergies to the mix, and it’s easy to see why manufacturers keep releasing new products that promise cleaner indoor air.

Beyond mainstream brands, DIY solutions have become popular in this space. With relatively low cost, users can combine air filters (HEPA or non-HEPA) with 140mm PC fans to create surprisingly powerful air-cleaning setups. In this “PC-fan purifier” category, AirFanta released the 3Pro, aiming to deliver high performance at a low price, while staying easy to assemble and use.

The AirFanta 3Pro is a compact air purifier that is marketed for areas up to 3,100 square feet (288 square meters) and carries a stated CADR of 413 CFM (702 m³/h). The unit is collapsible and travel-friendly, designed to pack down small enough to fit into a 20-inch suitcase. Functionally, the 3Pro is a commercialized “PC-fan CR box”: four H11 HEPA filter panels form the sides of a cube, while four DC fans on the lid pull air through all four faces. This geometry maximizes filter surface area relative to footprint, helping it deliver strong clean-air throughput without needing to run at full blast all the time.

In short, the AirFanta 3Pro is a distinctive entry in the air purifier market: a refined, portable take on the well-known Corsi–Rosenthal Box concept. It clearly prioritizes raw CADR performance and portability over smart features, automation, or furniture-grade aesthetics.

Highlights:

  • High throughput in a ~13-inch cube, with six practical speed points.
  • Flat-pack portability: disassembles and reassembles without tools.
  • Strong control granularity enables a ‘purge then maintain’ workflow.
  • Odor control requires activated carbon filters; HEPA is for particles.
