Akasa introduces Euler CMX Compact Fanless Mini‑ITX Case

Cooling Systems Feb 22,2026 0

Akasa, a leading provider of thermal solutions, introduced the Euler CMX, a compact, aluminium, fanless case designed for Mini-ITX motherboards. The Euler CMX supports Intel® Core™ (8th-14th Gen) and Core™ Ultra (15th Gen) processors up to 35W TDP and integrates a 220W DC-to-DC power converter, delivering reliable performance in space-constrained environments while ensuring long-term durability for industrial automation, point-of-sale (POS), kiosk, digital signage, surveillance or other commercial systems.

This case is compatible with Mini-ITX motherboards with Intel® LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200 or LGA115X sockets, supporting Intel® Core™ (8th-14th Gen) and Core™ Ultra (15th Gen) processors up to 35W TDP.
Featuring Akasa's patented spring-loaded, CPU cooler mounting system, the Euler CMX offers wide compatibility with Mini-ITX form factor boards and consistent, stable thermal contact across the supported socket range. Its completely fanless design features an aluminium thermal module to effectively dissipate heat from the CPU through the chassis fins, minimising noise and mechanical failure spots, ensuring long-term performance. An included heatsink and thermal pads provide cooling for M.2 2280 SSDs.

With dimensions of 248.6 x 205 x 78.5 mm, its compact 4.0L footprint makes it ideal for environments where space is limited. To further enhance installation flexibility, the chassis supports both VESA and wall mounting, allowing it to be positioned behind displays, on walls or in other space-constrained locations.

The Euler CMX integrates an internal 220W DC-to-DC converter, delivering multi-rail output (+3.3V, +5V, +5V standby, +12V, -12V) and supporting 12V DC power input via a 4-pin DIN connector. With built-in over-voltage and over-power protection, it operates reliably from -25°C to 70°C. ATX power cables with 24-pin and 4+4-pin connectors are included for easy compatibility with standard ATX motherboard power. An optional 150W, 12V external power adapter is available for complete system builds (product code: AK-PD150-02K).

The front I/O interfaces include two USB 3.2 Type A ports, two USB 2.0 Type A ports, power and HDD LED indicators and a power button. Rear interfaces include dual antenna holes, the 4 pin DIN power port, as well as an opening for the motherboard rear I/Os.

Applications for the Euler CMX include scenarios demanding high MTBF, silent operation and environmental resilience, such as digital signage, POS terminals, surveillance systems, industrial automation, and edge computing deployments.
