be quiet! has established itself as a dominant force in the PC chassis, power delivery, and thermal management sectors. Following the successful debut of the Dark Mount and Light Mount mechanical keyboards, the company is now expanding its peripheral ecosystem with the introduction of two performance‑oriented gaming mice: the Dark Perk Sym and Dark Perk Ergo.

Both models are designed for competitive environments and professional workflows where input precision and low‑latency responsiveness are critical. The Dark Perk series integrates be quiet!’s characteristic engineering approach with an ultralight structural design, high‑efficiency wireless architecture, and a fully featured configuration suite. The result is a pair of devices optimized for consistent tracking performance, ergonomic stability, and granular user customization.

Dark Perk Ergo: Ergonomic Precision

Specifically designed for right-handed users, the Dark Perk Ergo features a sculpted, ergonomic shape that fits naturally in the hand, making it ideal for relaxed "palm" grips during extended sessions. Despite its solid build, it weighs a mere 55 grams, ensuring effortless movement and reduced wrist fatigue during intense gameplay.

Dark Perk Sym: Symmetrical Speed

The Dark Perk Sym shares the same elite internal architecture but utilizes a symmetrical shell suitable for various grip styles. Like its sibling, it weighs only 55 grams, delivering a perfect blend of speed and control for fast-paced, "flick-heavy" competitive shooters.

The Core: Elite Performance

At the heart of both mice is the flagship PixArt PAW3950 sensor, widely regarded as the best in the world. It offers up to 32,000 DPI and an industry-leading 8,000 Hz polling rate, even in wireless mode. This provides a near-instant 0.125ms response time, ensuring every movement is tracked with surgical precision.

Powering this technology is the Nordic nRF54H20 MCU, which ensures stability at high speeds while maintaining incredible efficiency. Users can enjoy up to 110 hours of continuous wireless gameplay at a standard 1,000 Hz polling rate. When it is time to charge, the included 1.8-meter braided USB-A to USB-C cable allows for seamless transition to wired play.

Hardware and Software Customization

For clicks, be quiet! utilizes high-quality Omron Optical D2FP-FN2 switches, which are rated for extreme durability and provide a soft, responsive, and quiet sound profile. All five buttons are fully programmable through the be quiet! IO Center software for Windows.

Furthermore, both models are compatible with IO Center Web, allowing users to customize DPI, lift-off distance, and polling rates directly in a web browser without installing any software—a major benefit for those who prefer a clean, "bloatware-free" system.

Dark Perk Ergo and Dark Perk Sym will be available starting February 3 at a suggested retail price of $109.90 / €109.90.

The Dark Perk Ergo is super lightweight at only 55g, making it the ideal extension of your hand. It is easy to control and lets you get perfect flick aim. Dark Perk Ergo will allow you to excel at your game for hours on end, with minimum fatigue.

WIRELESS FREEDOM

No need to replace AA batteries! The built-in battery lasts up to 110 hours at 1,000 Hz polling rate (or 1 ms response time). For such a long battery life in a lightweight mouse, a high-capacity battery is not enough. The carefully selected Nordic Semiconductor nRF54H20 MCU and PixArt sensor, combined with balanced firmware development result in the perfect blend of performance and battery life. You do not even need to interrupt your gaming session while recharging, you can use the Dark Perk Ergo with a braided 1.8m USB-A-to-C cable as well.

AIM WITH SURGICAL PRECISION

The PixArt PAW3950 is widely considered the best mouse sensor in the world. For the Dark Perk Ergo, only the best was good enough. With a resolution of up to 32,000 DPI, you can fine-tune to incredible levels and enjoy rock-solid and smooth tracking. Plus, with a polling rate of up to 8,000 Hz in both wireless and wired mode, the response time is lightning-fast.

LOW-LATENCY CLICKS FOR HIGH LETHALITY

The Optical Omron D2FP-FN2 switches for the left and right mouse buttons are super-fast, responsive, easily spammable, and have a silent sound profile. You can reprogram all 5 buttons so they are tailored exactly to your needs. Create multiple profiles and loadouts for your games in be quiet! IO Center. There is also a switch at the bottom that cycles between 5 customizable DPI levels and a slider that turns the mouse on or off to preserve battery life.

ERGONOMIC SHAPE

An ergonomic shape makes the Dark Perk Ergo intuitively easy to grip. 2 thumb buttons are conveniently placed in reach for any grip style.

TAKE FULL CONTROL

be quiet! IO Center gives you complete control over your Dark Perk Ergo mouse and other be quiet! devices like keyboards. You can adjust your mouse’s DPI, lift-off distance, and polling rate. You can also remap buttons and set up macros in different profiles. You can set up multiple profiles and store your favorite on the mouse’s onboard storage, so you can use it on a different computer and keep your familiar settings. The software uses very few system resources while active. Don’t care for installing extra software on your PC? Simply use IO Center Web to configure your Dark Perk Ergo mouse conveniently through your browser.
