Following the release of Nvidia's new GeForce GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics cards, rival AMD continues to cut the prices of its own oferings, with its flagship Radeon R9 290X be now available from AMD's partners for almost $300. Nvidia’s new GTX 900-series are generally stronger than AMD’s R9-series video cards in both frame rate and power efficiency, so AMD wants to lure gamers by offering more attractive prices. In addition, AMD’s top-tier Radeon cards support the Mantle technology and come with three free games, including popular titles like Alien: Isolation, Sniper Elite 3, Saints Row IV, various Star Citizen modules, and more.

Other Radeon cards received similar price cuts as well.
