The A8N32-SLI Deluxe is certainly going to be on most gamers list of preferred motherboards. Dual X16 PCI-Express SLI support, high games performance and a full retail package with all required cables, manuals, drivers, applications and extra fans make this a very attractive package. Taking a closer look at the the black colored PCB, you will notice that it is of quality construction, incorporating the Stack Cool 2 technology for transferring generated heat away from critical components. The board is also equipped with dual Gigabit LAN, HD-AUDIO, SATA RAID, Dual Channel, N.O.S., which are just some from the long list of features for this motherboard. The only thing that is missing is on-board WiFi and IDE RAID.

When we compared the performance of the A8N32-SLI Deluxe against the ABIT AN8 32X, we saw slightly better performance from the ABIT. In games for example, the difference between the two was in most case no more than a few frames, while in most of the benchmarks, the ABIT motherboard was consistently awarded higher overall scores. Nevertheless, the difference between them isn't significant.

At the time of this review, the A8N32-SLI Deluxe cost US$197 from newegg.com, placing it among the more expensive boards. However, we think it is worth every last cent.

Pros:

  • Dual X16 SLI support
  • Good Retail Package
  • Very Good performance
  • Quiet operation
  • Monitor utility from within Windows
  • Q-Fan and AI NOS features
  • Excellent overclocking capabilities

Cons:

  • No WiFi
