Writing Quality Tests - C1 / C2 Error Measurements
Here we measured the C1 / C2 error rate of the recorded discs burned with the BenQ DW800A drive, at all the supported writing speeds with various media brands. The software used was UMDoctor Pro2 and as a reader drive for retrieving the error rate information we used the Optorite DD0203 drive. The charts below illustrate the Q-Check graphs for various CD-R media and speeds.

- Summary
No matter what the media brand or writing speed, the BenQ drive wrote all the discs we used with high quality. According to UMDoctor 2, the C1 error levels were very low while no C2 errors were reported.
