BenQ Expands Storage Product Line with 'Trio' Triple BD Writer
BenQ showcases its first 'Trio' writer BW1000, a triple writer that encompasses Blu-ray (BD), DVD and CD format support, as well as new DVD-RAM drives at CeBIT 2006.
BenQ BW1000 supports all Blu-ray Disc formats at 2X read and write, as well as the Serial ATA interface, which secures the data bandwidth while playing back high-definition contents. BenQ's BW1000 will allow users to transfer high-definition home videos and art works to BD-R and BD-RE media, either 25GB or 50GB version, to share and store premium contents with convenience. The BW1000 is expected in the market in Q2 2006.
BenQ BW1000 features SolidBurn and Write Right technologies. SolidBurn automatically learns and optimizes the writing settings for recordable media and makes over-speed writing feasible and stable. BenQ's Write Right technology provides thorough protection during the writing process, which includes Seamless Link (for buffer-under run protection), dynamical jitter calibration (for real-time writing quality consistency) and Walking-OPC (for real-time writing power compensation) features.
BenQ DW1670
The BenQ DW1670 DVD3 writer supports the entire main stream DVD recordable and rewritable formats from DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+/-R Double Layer to DVD-RAM.
The drive features BenQ?s proprietary Dual Cooling System (DCS) technology, which reduces the risk of over-heating during high speed reading and writing. The DCS technology comprises of an Anti-Dust Cooling System (ADCS) and Air Flow Cooling System (AFCS). The Anti-Dust Cooling System redirects the heat flow out of the drive while providing protection from the dust whereas the Air Flow Cooling System accelerates the air circulation inside the drive cabinet as well as speeds up the heat elimination through the drive encasing itself to provide thermal management efficiency.
BenQ DW1655
The BenQ DW1655, an evolved DVD writer with LightScribe technology, enables quality disc labeling of high-resolution graphics directly from your computer in fifteen minutes approximately. New LightScribe media offers five background colors. In addition, BenQ DW1655 also features SolidBurn and Write Right technologies as well as Dual Cooling System.
