First Security Issue For Google Glass
Lookout Security has found a security flaw in Google Glass related to the capture of corrupted QR codes.
Google has corrected the problem ahead of the commercial launch of the augmented-reality glasses, scheduled for 2014.
Lookout Security said that when trying to connect to a site or online service by photographing a counterfeit QR code, a Google Glass wearer risked falling into the trap of a WiFi network controlled by hackers. This could give the pirates access to the data on the Google Glass device.
