Google Glass Device Appeared In FCC Website
A filing to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) reveals photos of what it could be the next generation of Google Glass. FCC is the U.S. government body that must review and approve personal electronics like phones and wearables.
The photos show the device’s external design, along with internal circuitry and also a basic user manual.
Named as model GG1 on the FCC documents, the device look slike the original Google Glass Explorer Edition: a set of eyeglass frames with a screen floating above your eye.
Previous reports hinted that the new edition of Google Glass would have a larger prism and include an Intel Atom processor. It could sell directly to businesses.
Google Glass was launched in 2012 for developers and then in 2013 for buyers. The company stopped selling its first Glass edition in January 2015.
