Google's big Android event on October 29th has been camceled due to Hurricane Sandy, which is expcted to hit the U.S. East coast closely to the scheduled event.
"We are canceling our Monday morning event in New York due to Hurricane Sandy. We will let you know our plans as soon as we know more," Google said in a statement.
Google has not set a new date for the event yet.
