JVC Ships Flat Screen Television/DVD Combo to Stores Nationwide
JVC announced that its "Real Flat Stereo DVD Combo Television" (AV-20FD22), has begun shipping to select retailers nationwide.
Housed in a sleek silver cabinet, the AV-20FD22 combines a 20`` flat screen television with a DVD player, making it the perfect unit for the office, college dorm room or any room in the house.
"The combo offers consumers convenient and space-conscious entertainment,'' said Michael Holmes, vice president and merchandising manager of the JVC Color Television Division. ``We utilized JVC's expertise in TV/VCR combinations to create a Flat Screen CRT/DVD that delivers consumers the ultimate audio and video experience."
The AV-20FD22 features the latest in JVC technology. An INVAR Shadow Mask reduces ambient light reflections and eliminates corner-to-corner distortions to produce a sharper, crystal clear picture. Rear and front AV input allows for convenient connection of other equipment such as camcorders and video game consoles. Front-firing speakers provide rich, clear sound, enhancing the viewing experience. Additionally, many of the functions found on high-performance DVD players such as random play, repeat and programmable play are incorporated into this TV/DVD combo.
A channel guard, which meets the V-Chip regulations for the US markets, ensures that parents can regulate what children watch while the Super Command OSD (On-Screen Display) provides trilingual menus in English, Spanish and French. A sleep timer allows consumers to drift off to their favorite shows. JVC's 4-way cursor remote makes navigating the menus easy and puts the operation of the television, DVD player or even the cable box at your fingertips.
