Latest PS4 Firmware Causes Problems
The recently released firmware update 2.0 for the PS4 game console has caused major issues adn Sony promised to fix them soon. Users have reported that the console simply won’t turn on again from rest mode, which normally allows players to charge their controllers and download content while they’re not playing.
Sony is aware of the issues.
"We’re aware of issues happening post PS4 2.00 firmware, including some freezes and boot errors. Working to resolve ASAP, will update soon," tweeted the official Playstation account.
According to online forums, the best solution to the bug is just not to use rest mode, fully turning off the console instead. But is seems that the rest mode problem is not the only one that firmware 2.0 is experiencing. Last week, 2K games had to delay Evolve’s Alpha on PS4 due to other issues.
