Lite-On will introduce their eHBU212 external Blu-ray Disc Writer in Europe. The drive has a USB 3.0 interface and can write Blu-ray discs at 12x speed. The eHBU212 can quickly burn DVDs and Blu-ray discs and also transform any suitably specified laptop or desktop into a complete Blu-ray player. The drive is equipped with Cyberlink Blu-ray Suite, which gives you the chance to enjoy the latest movies in 1920 x 1080p high definition with superb audio. Furthermore all the applications you need for disc burning, DVD video editing, backup, and advanced disc burning are provided as well. With the added LightScribe technology you can create and burn your personalized designs onto the labels of LightScribe compatible DVDs and CDs.

The eHBU212 will be available in Europe later this month for a suggested end-user price of EUR 165.
