New CD format which supports 1.3GB coming from Sony and Philips

Sony and Philips does not have the same opinion. Both companies plan soon to present their new "Double-density CD-R" technology that will offer increased storage capacity up to 1.3GB! ;)

The new drives will be backward compatible to classic CD-R media, but their exact specifications remain unknown yet. NULL
