Noctua NF-A14x25 G2
4. Conclusion
Noctua continues to innovate and this time introduces three new products that are actually...the same design with different characteristics and uses. We have seen the NF-A14 G2 series with the Noctua NH-D15 G2 cooler and we had a very high performance level with low noise those fans now come in square design to fit into other coolers, liquid coolers, and PC cases. The build material is Sterrox LCP, a highly optimized Progressive-Bend impeller with winglets, Flow Acceleration Channels, and Centrifugal Turbulator hub combined with a tip clearance of only 0.7mm.
The "normal" version of the NF-A14x25 G2 can be used in all types of usage and comes with an NA-AVG2-LR anti-vibration gasket pre-installed to create a tighter seal on radiators. Additionally, its AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame can be combined with the optional NA-IS1-14 inlet spacer, which can help to achieve superior suction acoustics and flow rates in challenging intake configurations. The "low" version, aka the NF-A14x25 G2 LS-PWM, comes with the same design/tech but with much lower RPM (down to 800rpm or 600rpm with the included L.N.A. reducer) and the same accessories. Lastly, the dual package, aka the NF-A14x25 G2 Sx2-PP contains two fans that are offset in speed by +/- ~25rpm to be used in push-pull operation like in case cooling or on 280mm water cooling radiators, in order to avoid periodic humming or other undesired acoustic interaction phenomena.
Overall we are impressed with what Noctua delivers and with the same design offers alternative solutions for users who further need/want to tweak their systems at the cooling part. We can already see that Noctua fans will buy the new products and create specific themed Noctua PC cases, especially with the dual-pack set. Other users can benefit from getting the new air coolers, if you feel that your existing fan simply doesn't deliver what it is meant to do. The retail price is slightly higher than the competition and no, you don't have ARGB included in this product. Noctua lists the retail prices for all their product as follows and you can visit the links for more information on where to buy this product.
