The retail package of the 800W Power Supply model is can be found in various online stores for $153.95 - $195.00. Of course retail price can differ depending your local region and VAT.

The PSU is well packaged into the retail box, which should look familiar to all you that already own an OCZ PSU.

The PSU itself is is typically sized for the ATX v2.2 category (150 x 160 x 86mm). The 120mm rotating fan at the top is also very quiet.

.

The power supply has a matte black smooth finish and adds points to the overall look and design. The PSU edges are not sharp, so you can handle it without any worries. This PSU is not modular, like other OCZ Technology models. While solid wiring does not allow connection failures, it may occupy more space inside your PC case as well as some extra effort to keep the wires tide.

The rear of the OCZ PUS has a honeycomb design, that helps lower PSU's internal temperature.

The EliteXStream series are different than previous models. Instead of having four +12V rails, we find only a single +12V rail rated at 0~62Amps. Using a single rail means that the power is directly applied to the connected PC components using a simpler circuit design, compared to the four rail design. Of course, high quality components are also required in the internal of the PSU in order to offer stability under heavy loads.

Each of the +3.3V rails support up to 25A while the +5V rails offer a maximum of 30A, translated to an overall wattage of 180W - enough for the needs of the majority of SLI and Crossfire configurations.

Another neat feature is that this product has really long cables! The main power supply, the PCI Express and +12V cables have a length of 60cm, while the IDE and SATA cables are almost three times longer! So no worries in case you have a big sized case.

In addition, the PCI-E cables are labeled for easy installation and the main 20+4 and 4+4 connectors are also joined. We would like IDE cables to follow the molex connector design, making it easier to unplug them.
