The Titan Skalli has the typical design/volume of an all-around cpu cooler, meaning that its cooling efficiency should be also typical for the category. But let's see how it actually performs against other cpu coolers.

We start the tests with our CPU running at stock voltages (no overclocked). The Titan Skalli lowered the temperature of the CPU at 50 degrees Celsius, matching the good performance of many other models of the category. Compared to Intel's stock cpu cooler, the Titan Skalli will keep your's CPU's temperature lower by 8-10 degrees C:

Let's overclock our Intel Core-i7 920 at 3.60GHz. Intel's stock cooler gave us around 90 degrees C, while the Titan Skalli managed to keep the CPU temperature down to 68 degrees C. We got the same performance from the Thermaltake ISGC-300 (dual fans installed) and the XigmaTek HDT-S1283 coolers:

The Titan Skalli cooler is also very quiet even at full speed. It produced 41dB of noise measured at a distance if 30cm from the cooler. That's very close to what you will experience using Intel's stock cooler instead:

What about price? The Titan Skalli would cost you just $30, making it a very competitive product. It's closest competitors in terms of performance - the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 and the Thermaltake ISGC-300 coolers - are priced much higher. As a result, we have a winner here:
