Halo 2 to Debut on Windows Vista

Halo 2 to Debut on Windows Vista

Gaming Feb 9,2006 0

Players keen to play Halo 2 on PC could have a long wait. Microsoft gives you a good reason to upgrade to Vista, in order to enjoy the popular video game. Halo fans will have to upgrade their home computer to follow Master Chief's new adventures on the PC. The PC version of Halo 2 will work only with the new version of Windows called Vista. Bungie Studios, developer of the Halo video games, claims that the move to make the game Vista-only isn't to force people to purchase the new operating system, though the official Bungie explanation as to why seems to leave something desired.

"As Bungie Studios and Microsoft are dedicated to delivering a top quality translation of Halo 2 for the PC, their efforts require the use of the best available technological platform for Windows games. Windows Vista will help bring clarity to our customers and help them get more out of their personal computing experience, allowing them to focus on what matters most to them."

In the PC version will be single and multi-player versions of the game, extra maps from add-on packs and tools to create new places to play.

Players could have a long wait because so far Microsoft has not officialy announced when Vista will be available. According to latest information from Microsoft, Vista should be expected late 2006.
