New Date for DaTARIUS' Blue Days
DaTARIUS has changed the location and timing its May 'Blue Days' seminar in the U.S.
The first of the Blue Days seminars will now take place in California
on May 10-11, with a European event to follow.
"With the Media-Tech Expo taking place in Germany at the end of May, many of our U.S.-based customers were reluctant to travel to Europe twice in a relatively short space of time," says Thomas Hackl, DaTARIUS CCO. "In addition to being careful to listen to our customers' wishes, we did not want to have an adverse effect on the attendance at the Expo."
"We are confident that this change of timing and venue will satisfy our U.S. customers, and we are now planning an equally important event to take place in Europe, with the dates to be announced during the Media-Tech Expo."
Sessions will cover every stage of optical manufacture and fulfilment: encoding, pre-mastering, mastering, electroforming, replication itself, quality control, packaging and printing.
DaTARIUS will explain in detail the measurements required for blue format spec conform discs, and guide attendees through the quality control process, how it relates to the manufacturing flow, and how replicators can get perfect product to their customers.
