All about StarForce. Developers of a unique copy protection system answer questions online.

General Interest Jul 18,2002 0

Until July 22nd CD-ROM/CD-R copy protection developers have been hidden from the audience. Discussions about copy protection have been avoided because information about technology aspects can be used illegally. StarForce Technologies made a decision to start a daily online conference at www.star-force.com to discuss data protection issues. We recently have got a lot of questions about StarForce CD-R copy protection system, its features and performance and that is why the first discussion topic is: "Copy protection for software distributed on CD-Rs, StarForce CD-R ". The session will take place on Monday, July 22. Further discussion topics will be selected according to the interest of the audience.

Conference sessions will cover not only StarForce products but also general copy protection and piracy topics. The company management team considers that a live talk between the audience and leading StarForce developers will attract more software publishers and developers.

The conference will be held daily at 10 a.m. PST (6 a.m. GMT) and last for an hour and a half. The time of the conference is selected to suit European and American audience.

To join the conference you need to register at http://www.star-force.com/about/partners/online.html page after the conference starts. You can ask questions, make comments and see what other participants have to say.
