Angry Birds Space Coming On Windows Phones
Rovio will bring its new Angry Birds Space game to Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform (WP7), its chief executive said on Friday, dismissing earlier media reports which said the top gaming firm was dumping the platform.
Rovio Chief Executive Mikael Hed said the launch date was not set.
In an earlier report on Bloomberg, Rovio 's CMO Peter Vesterback was quoted as saying, "We want to be on all screens, but we have to consider the cost of supplying the smaller platforms. With Windows Phone it?s a lot of work to technically support it."
It is obvious that Rovio's CEO rushed to "correct" his colleague's words and reaffirm Rovio support for Microsoft and its new mobile OS, although Apple's iOS and Android are clearly bigger than any other mobile platform.
Angry Birds Space includes 60 brand new levels along with new bird types and different kinds of gameplay techniques.
