AORUS 16 Expands Line-up of GIGABYTE's Gaming Products

AORUS 16 Expands Line-up of GIGABYTE's Gaming Products

Gaming Apr 28,2023 0

After the launch of AORUS 17X / 15X, AORUS 17 / 15, and AERO 16 / 14 OLED in 2023 Q1, in Q2 GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY is releasing the AORUS 16 Gaming Laptop with a 16-inch 240Hz eye-protection display, presenting gamers with a brand-new option while marking the company's official arrival in the 16-inch gaming laptop market. Coming with the latest 13th Intel® Core™ i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce® RTX™ 40 Series Laptop GPU, the laptop has inherited the iconic AORUS slimness. Equipped with a large 16:10 screen certified with TÜV Rheinland low blue light, flicker-free certification, as well as a unique quad-fan Windforce Infinity cooling system exclusively for flagship models, AORUS 16 offers both efficiency and immersive entertainment experiences. Gaming enthusiasts will be amazed by its formidable computing abilities, while gamers who are also creators can enjoy the broad vision for entertainment media and production capability.

AORUS 16: Games, creations, and all the excitement you could wish for
With the 13th-generation Intel® Core™ i7 H series processor, the latest AORUS 16 contains the NVIDIA RTX™ 4070 with TGP up to 140W and Dynamic Boost technology, as well as the brand-new NVIDIA DLSS 3 powered by the 4th-gen Tensor core and optical flow accelerator of the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture. In addition to the 16-inch 16:10 QHD+ gaming display featuring a 240Hz high refresh rate and eye protection, the outstanding cooling system designed for high performance suppresses the intense heat from the challenging graphics of AAA titles. AORUS 16 uses the supercharged version of the Windforce Infinity cooling system, introducing the quad fans and four exhausts design exclusive to the flagship model. The extremely thin fan blades allow greater inlet space, significantly increasing cooling efficiency. The heat dissipation ability of the TDP system can reach 160 watts, achieving the most powerful performance within a chassis of less than 2cm, while ensuring comfort of operations.

In 2023, the AORUS gaming line is initiating a visionary revolution with AORUS 16 for gamers all around the world. The standard configuration consists of a 240Hz high refresh rate that supports MUX switch technology, allowing gamers to dominate from the start of every shooting game match. The vivid and realistic graphics are presented from the QHD+(2560x1600) high definition and 100% sRGB wide color gamut. Certified with the TÜV Rheinland low blue light and flicker-free certifications, the A.I. Eyecare function developed by the GIGABYTE Software Team is also introduced to allow automatic brightness adjustments based on the light source in the environment. The user's eyes are always cared for, even after long hours of use. The enlarged 16-inch 16:10 display, with broadened upper and lower parts, offers extra viewing area within the limited size of the laptop. Apart from immersive gameplays, it is also capable of enhancing multi-tasking, with audio and video editing software for content creators, development for software engineers, and other office or coding tasks that require more screen space. With less scrolling and window switching, user productivity can be pushed to the limit!

AORUS 16 gaming sophistication – portable battle-readiness
With the simplicity, subtlety, and the outstanding beauty of the AORUS gaming series, the appearance design is a stylish black greeted with a groovy rainbow bridge RGB light strip, denoting a black hole that connects the gaming world with real life, always ready to be summoned for instant switches between gaming and real life. To make the battle-readiness portable for the latest AORUS 16, GIGABYTE has adopted a short but powerful gallium nitride adapter. Different from traditional 280W adapters, it is not only lighter in weight and more efficient, but also its size is reduced by 40%, allowing gamers to pack light and be battle-ready anywhere, anytime. What's more, the 99Wh battery has the largest capacity available for in-flight use, delivering ultra-performance for a long time without needing to charge. The complete 8 I/O ports, including the RJ45, HDMI, and DC-in, have all been moved to the back of the machine, clearing all the space on the right for competitive mouse movement. As for the Thunderbolt™ 4 ports at the back, apart from high-speed transmission and external display, they also support power delivery, meeting emergency charging needs outdoors. In addition, AORUS 16 supports the latest gen DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen4 SSD, increasing loading speed and overall performance. The FHD 1080p camera supports Windows Hello facial recognition logins and the TPM 2.0 safety function, ensuring cybersecurity on top of all the outstanding gaming performance and work efficiency enhancements.
