German software developer Ashampoo has just relased Ashampoo HDD Control 3, a comprehensive tool for hard disk maintenance and monitoring. Developed by the team behind the Ashampoo WinOptimizer, the new software helps prevent data loss, maintain performance and monitor hard disk healths to increase disk lifespans. The program includes performance analysis capabilities and comes with a defrag tool, disk usage analysis, data wiping and, as a first, health monitoring for hard disks built into PCs that are part of a Windows network without the need for separate software installations.

Ashampoo HDD Control 3 runs on Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP systems. It is available for $49.99.
