To enjoy 144Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Technology which eliminates screen tearing and motion blur, you will need compatible video cards such as MATRIX-R9290X-4GD5, R9290X-DC2-4GD5 and STRIX-R9285-DC2OC-2GD5.

ASUS-exclusive features include Ultra-Low Blue Light Filter to reduce blue light emissions by up to 70% for eye-protection, Flicker-Free Technology offer comfortable viewing, GamePlus hotkey with crosshair overlay and timer functions, and GameVisual Technology offers six preset display modes tailored for different game genres.

ASUS MG279Q boasts 77% more on-screen space than full-HD (1920X1080), 109PPI (pixels per inch), and 100% sRGB color gamut.

The slim profile and narrow bezels make this a great choice for multi-display setups. The height-adjustable display tilts and swivels to your liking and can be detached easily using the quick-release latch and VESA wall-mounted to create more space on your desk.
