be quiet! Light Wings Pro IO fan
4. 360/420mm
420mm models
The 420mm is the flagship: the most LEDs (124) and the most airflow of the triple-fan frames, in a 420 × 140 mm frame sized for triple-140mm positions. It comes in four versions (Regular and Reverse, each in black or white) with an IO Controller and a 70cm IO cable in the box. The box holds the fan, four screws, the IO Controller, the 70cm IO cable and the controller connection cables.

The Reverse version is rated about 2 dB(A) quieter but delivers roughly 18% less airflow and 19% less static pressure on paper, so choose it for mounting and appearance, not for cooling. Semi-passive mode keeps all three impellers stopped at 40% PWM or lower, then ramps them up as temperatures rise.

All four models are priced at €119.90, and the Black and White versions of each are identical. They share a 4-pole motor with a Fluid Dynamic Bearing, screw-only mounting, a 700mm sleeved IO cable, daisy-chain compatibility, zero RPM mode, a 60,000 hour lifespan at 25°C and a 5-year warranty.

Regular and Reverse differ in weight (676.62 g against 674.11 g including fixed cables) and input current (0.80 A against 0.50 A). Both list a 1.7 A safety current and a 2.05 A rated LED current. Retail packaging is 565 × 146.5 × 32.5 mm at 0.92 kg, 20 per carton. As on the 360mm, the Reverse's lower input current follows its slower speed, and the 20.4 W input power equals the safety current at 12 V, so it reads as a ceiling rather than typical draw.

360mm models
The 360mm trades airflow for pressure: its regular version is rated at 2500 RPM with the highest static pressure of the triple-fan frames (2.47 mm H₂O), which suits dense radiators. It has 116 LEDs and comes in the same four versions as the 420mm, with an IO Controller and 70cm cable included. The box holds the fan, four screws, the IO Controller, the 70cm IO cable and the controller connection cables.

The Reverse penalty is steeper here: about 4.7 dB(A) quieter, but roughly 28% less airflow and 44% less static pressure, with the lowest airflow and pressure figures in the whole lineup. It is a look-first choice. The regular 360mm is also the loudest triple-frame on paper (33.9 dB(A)), a reminder that rated noise is at 100% PWM and that the semi-passive and curve settings in IO Center decide what you hear day to day.

All four models share the same €109.90 price, and the Black and White versions of each are identical. They share a 4-pole motor with a Fluid Dynamic Bearing, screw-only mounting, a 700mm sleeved IO cable, zero RPM mode, a 60,000 hour lifespan at 25°C, a 5-year warranty and the same approvals as the Expansion fans. Unlike the Expansion fans they are daisy-chain compatible.

Regular and Reverse differ in weight (543.46 g against 546.23 g including fixed cables) and input current (0.75 A against 0.40 A). Both list a 1.6 A safety current and a 1.91 A rated LED current. Retail packaging is 505 × 126.5 × 32.5 mm at 0.6 kg, 20 per carton.

One power detail to treat with care: the 19.2 W input power equals the 1.6 A safety current at 12 V, so it reads as a worst-case ceiling. The lower input currents, roughly 9 W for the regular and 4.8 W for the Reverse if read at 12 V, track the Reverse's slower speed and are probably nearer typical draw.
