be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX (280mm)
5. Conclusion
The Pure Loop 2 FX is the second major attempt to enter liquid cooling from be quiet!. The product introduces many fixes and feedback from users and also comes with a nice ARGB touch, which we liked in our PC case. The Pure Loop 2 comes to introduce liquid cooling to the middle-category and we could say to gamers who wish good performance and for sure look/appearance.
The Pure Loop 2 series come with three difference sizes depending your needs and overall case dimensions (240/280/360mm). For our tests we tested the "middle" sized, the 280mm. The retail box is big and includes all the needed cables/screws/accessories you might need to install it, either at Intel or AMD platforms. As a bonus, be quiet! has included a six way ARGB/Power splitter, in order to better organize/manage the included fans and other cooling products you might have inside your PC case.
Installation process if very easy to follow and be quiet! has included a printed manual and of course you can view official online product videos if you are an amateur to the whole cooling scene. We didn't had any major issues and you must follow some basic rules to keep performance at max levels. There will be no problem with big sized RAM modules and the included long (400mm) hose tubes you will fit the Pure Loop 2 FX even at full ATX cases.
Passing to the performance area, the Pure Loop 2 (280mm) FX product proved to be a very good overall performer that can rival other big air CPU coolers, especially at the noise levels. The two included 140mm Light Wings fans are a good choice, even they need some tweaking at the fan curve to faster dispass heat than what might be the stock fan curve from the motherboard. We found that performance even at OC situations would be very good, even of course the bigger (360mm) offers the highest possible performance. What really pleased us is that fact that Pure Loop 2 FX produces very low noise even at full load!!
Overall, we have no problem to suggest be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX to all users who wish to have very good performance at acceptable price and with very low noise levels....and of course ARGB functionality
