Dell Chief Shows New Tablet
Dell Chief Executive Michael Dell showed off a new seven-inch tablet at his appearance on stage of the Oracle OpenWorld conference in San Francisco on
Wednesday.
Although Michael Dell did not provide any details on
the specificatons or availability date of the new
tablet, it is expected to run on Android software.
Dellhas already launched the Android-based "Streak"
tablet with a five-inch screen, a camera, Wi-Fi and 3G
conection. It is currently on sale on Dell's US
website $550 dollars and $300 with a two-year service
contract AT&T.
Dell also said the company's revenue has grown about 20 percent over the past two quarters, and "it looks like we'll probably do that again this quarter as well."
