Supported speeds are 52x for reading/writing CDs It can burn CD-RWs at 24x and read DVDs at 16x.
It has 2MB buffer store and uses SuperLink to protect against buffer underrun errors. It supports 74/80 minute CDs and overburning (90/99 minutes).
It is a compact drive (MiniForm form factor), and the drive comes with interchangeable front panel bezels (black, silver and beige).
Software included with the drive includes MSI's LiveUpdate3 for easy upgrades of the drive's firmware, an OEM version of Nero Burning ROM 6.3. and PowerDVD from CyberLink for video playback.
