First SLI Notebooks
NVIDIA extends its acclaimed SLI technology to notebook PCs for the first time.
SLI technology enables two NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800 GTX graphics processing units (GPUs) to be used in notebooks based on the NVIDIA nForce 4 SLI core-logic solution.
The GeForce Go 7800 GTX was the first top-of-the-line notebook GPU to deliver performance on par with desktop PCs, and provide the gamer with enthusiast-class performance on the road.
Notebooks featuring SLI technology are available now from top-tier gaming system builders worldwide, including Sager, Alienware, Velocity Micro, and Voodoo as well as partners ABS, AJP, BioHazard, Cybersystem, Evesham, Gericom, Hypersonic, Multirama, Olidata, Plaisio, ProStar, rockdirect, Rombus, Savrow, Vicious PC, XS2, and Wortmann.
