Google, LG to Introduce Nexus 6 With Smartwatch This Fall
Google and LG will introduce a new flagship smartphone along with a smartwatch this fall.
The smartphone (Nexus 6?) will be reportedly based on LG's upcoming G3 model.
Google and LG had collaborated some years ago on the Nexus 4.
As Google's senior vice president Sundar Pichai announced, Google is also moving to expand the Android operating system on its smartphones to its wearable devices. In two weeks, Google plans to release the software programs for its wearable devices, including smartwatches and smartjackets, which are equipped with sensors.
The upcoming Nexus smartwatch will join Samsung's Galaxy Gear and an anticipated iWatch from Apple.
