Interactive Media announces the release of stand alone DVD duplicator

Interactive Media Corporation today announced the release its new DVD Duplicator, a device that enables users to create duplicate DVDs or CDs without the use of a computer. The new 2x KanguruDVD Duplicator is capable of duplicating up to seven DVDs or CDs simultaneously. Starting at $949, KanguruDVD Duplicators are available in four models, 1 to 1, 1 to 3, 1 to 5 and 1 to 7. All models feature "Burn Proof" technology, automatic DVD or CD format detection, copy, test and verify options, and an LCD display menu for ease of use. "This device will open up a new world for DVD users, enabling them to duplicate a DVD at the touch of a button without using a computer," said Nate Cote, vice president of product management for Interactive Media. "With the release of this product, Interactive Media Corporation expands upon its position as a market leader in optical disc duplication and firmly establishes itself in the DVD duplicator market with a device that is fast, convenient, and affordable."

The standalone DVD duplicator offers up to 4.7GB of storage capacity on a single DVD disc and also utilizes DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, and CD-RW. The product is capable of writing to DVD-R General Purpose Media and will also work with CDRW media.
