Introducing the Razer Atlas Pro

Introducing the Razer Atlas Pro

Gaming Apr 22,2026 0

Razer announced the Razer Atlas Pro, the world’s thinnest1 glass gaming mouse mat, setting a new benchmark in thinness, performance, and modern set-up aesthetics. Featuring an ultra-thin 1.9 mm low-profile design, the Atlas Pro brings the mouse surface closer to the desk for a more seamless, ergonomic experience. By crossing the sub-2 mm threshold for the first time, the Atlas Pro is the world’s thinnest glass gaming mouse mat, measured across its entire construction – including the rubber base, with the glass layer measuring just 1.1 mm.

This ultra-thin profile allows Atlas Pro to seamlessly blend into modern gaming setups while supporting a more natural wrist posture during extended gaming sessions. The reduced height difference between desk and surface creates a continuous, comfortable interaction point, strengthening the connection between mouse movement and control without sacrificing stability or durability.

“The Atlas Pro was an opportunity to challenge ourselves in a category that had largely stood still,” said Charlie Bolton, Global Head of Design at Razer. “By rethinking how glass should sit and feel on the desk, we created a surface that’s thinner, more refined, and designed to integrate seamlessly into modern setups—and that process is what led to the world’s thinnest glass gaming mouse mat.”

Redefining the Limits of Glass Gaming Mouse Mats
When Razer introduced the original Atlas in 2023, it challenged expectations by becoming the first glass gaming mouse mat with a full-coverage rubber base, delivering greater stability and reduced noise levels compared to traditional four-corner foot designs. As glass gaming mouse mats became more widely adopted, innovation across the category slowed. Most designs converged around similar thicknesses, typically above three millimeters, with progress limited to incremental refinements rather than meaningful breakthroughs. With Atlas Pro, Razer set out to move beyond those constraints and redefine what high-performance glass gaming mouse mats could deliver once again in terms of thinness, ergonomics, and performance.

Engineered for Performance and Precision
Beyond its ultra-thin design, Atlas Pro is purpose-built for competitive play. Its tempered glass surface delivers a smooth, low-friction glide favored by FPS and aim-training players who rely on fast, consistent mouse movements. To ensure reliable tracking on a surface this thin, Atlas Pro features a 2 µm micro–etched texture, engineered and validated in collaboration with Razer’s industry-leading sensor partner. This texturing enables accurate, consistent tracking across a wide range of movements, sensitivities, and play styles.

Durability Designed for Daily Use
The Atlas Pro achieves its ultra–thin form factor without sacrificing durability. Constructed from premium tempered glass, the surface undergoes extensive testing to ensure consistent performance over time. Rated 9H on the Mohs hardness scale, the surface resists scratches from everyday objects such as keys, pens, and coins. A protective coating allows for quick wipe-downs, keeping the glass gaming mouse mat clean and pristine through daily use.

Design Details That Matter

CNC-Milled Rounded Edges
Precision-engineered edges designed to stay gentle and comfortable on wrists during extended gaming sessions.

11% Larger Surface Area (500 x 400 mm)
A spacious playing surface that supports wider, sweeping mouse movements favored by competitive players.

Anti-Slip Rubber Base
Full‑coverage rubber base designed to keep the mouse mat securely in place for stable, consistent gameplay.

With the Atlas Pro, Razer reimagines glass gaming mouse mats through breakthrough thinness and refined engineering, delivering a modern glass surface that blends cutting-edge innovation with modern desk aesthetics.
