The JSAUX Clear Back Shell PC0106b for SteamDeck is a different approach to cooling efficiency at least compared with both the stock SteamDeck and the JSAUX PC0106 back shell. In both of those products, the airflow comes from the back bottom vents and through the system exhausts at the top vents, introducing a negative airflow that transfers the heat from the internal of the device outside. The PC0106 seems to improve that design and offers like 3 Celsius less overall temperature for the CPU/GPU area, compared with the stock Steam Deck design. The PC0106b follows a different design with another set of grills that suck air directly to the internal fan and therefore theoretically improve the cooling efficiency of the SteamDeck.

We can say it further improves the cooling performance, up to 6 Celsius compared with the stock SteamDeck back shell, for a retail price of $29.99. The retail package is complete and somewhat easier to install compared with the PC0106 due to the small thermal pad.
