Lexar today announced the 128GB capacity of the Professional 2000x SDXC UHS-II memory card, the new 2933x, 1400x XQD 2.0 cards and XQD 2.0 Reader. Te company has also added the JumpDrive M20c to its USB flash drive line, featuring a USB Type-C connector. The Lexar Professional 3600x CFast 2.0 card and the Lexar Professional 3500x CFast 2.0 card have been designed to capture 4K video and meet the exacting speed and capacity demands of professional cinematographers.

The Lexar Professional 3600x CFast 2.0 card provides read transfer speed up to 540MB per second (3600x). The new card will be available in 256GB and 128GB capacities, and is specifically optimised for ARRI cameras.

The Lexar Professional 3500x CFast 2.0 memory card will replace the Lexar Professional 3400x CFast 2.0 card. The new card will be available in capacities ranging from 32GB to 256GB and provide read transfer speed up to 525MB per second.

The Lexar Professional 3600x and 3500x CFast 2.0 cards include a lifetime copy of Image Rescue software, come with a limited lifetime warranty and will be available for purchase in October and November, respectively.

The Lexar Professional 3600x CFast 2.0 card has MSRPs of £739.99 (256GB) and £394.99 (128GB). The Lexar Professional 3500x CFast 2.0 card has MSRPs of £739.99 (256GB), £394.99(128GB), £213.99 (64GB) and £129.99 (32GB).

Professional 2933x and 1400x XQD 2.0 cards, Lexar Professional Workflow XR2

The Lexar Professional 2933x and 1400x XQD 2.0 cards have been designed for use with the latest generation of high-definition camcorders and high-resolution DSLRs. The cards deliver read transfer speeds up to 2933x (440MB per second) and 1400x (210MB per second) respectively. They support both PCI Express Gen 2 and USB 3.0 interfaces.

The Lexar Professional Workflow XR2 (XQD 2.0 USB 3.0 reader) is compatible with both the Professional Workflow HR2 (Thunderbolt 2/USB 3.0 reader and storage drive hub) and Professional Workflow HR1 (USB 3.0 reader and storage drive hub).

Lexar Professional XQD 2.0 cards come with a limited lifetime warranty, and include a lifetime copy of Image Rescue software.

Professional 2000x SDXC UHS-II Card

Lexar's 128GB capacity of the Professional 2000x SDXC UHS-II memory card willbe available for purchase later this year.

Leveraging the Ultra High Speed II, UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) specification, the Lexar Professional 2000x SDXC card quickly captures and transfers extended lengths of 4K video, as well as high-quality images. The new 128GB capacity card offers read transfer speeds up to 300MB per second and write speeds up to 260MB per second. Additionally, the Professional 2000x SDXC UHS-II card includes an SD UHS-II reader for high-speed file transfer of photos and videos from the card to any PC or Mac system.

The Lexar Professional 2000x SDXC UHS-II card is backwards compatible with older cameras and readers, performing at UHS-I and Class 10 speeds. The card comes with a limited lifetime warranty and includes a lifetime copy of Image Rescue software.

The new SDXC card will be available in October with an MSRP of £224.99.

New JumpDrive M20c and JumpDrive M20i Flash drives

Last but not least, Lexar announced two additions to its mobile USB 3.0 flash drive line: the Lexar JumpDrive M20c and the Lexar JumpDrive M20i.

The Lexar JumpDrive M20c leverages USB 3.0 performance with up to 150MB/s read and 60MB/s write speeds. Its reversible design of the Type-C connector means no fumbling to insert it correctly. It also easily expands the memory of your devices providing more room for your images and videos. For added versatility, the drive is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices.

The Lexar JumpDrive M20i drive features a Lightning and USB 3.0 connector, making quick work of offloading files on the go—no charging or battery needed, and no network required. It works with the use of a free file management app from the App Store which allows users to back up files when connected, and automatically and securely syncs files on the go. The JumpDrive M20i provides read speeds up to 95MB/s and write speeds up to 20MB/s. It is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices.
