LG G4 Beat Is An Budget Alternative To The Flagship G4
LG Electronics said Thursday it will roll out the low-cost edition of its high-end LG G4 smartphone around the globe this week, as the flagship model continues to suffer weak sales. The LG G4 Beat will come with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and it is slightly smaller than the original G4 that has a 5.5-inch screen. However, the new device will maintain the overall curved look that compares to other rival flagships from Samsung Electronics and Apple.
Sales will begin later this week in Brazil, and gradually expand to major countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia.
The device is expected to retail for US$300.
The G4 Beat will come with 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras, a 2,300 mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. Key LG smartphone features like "Gesture Shot Interval," which allows users to take photos by curling one's fingers into their palm while facing the camera, will also be available.
